Psychic’s Warning Ignored: Caregiver Suffers Severe Head Injury

Must Read

A caregiver alleges that disregarding a psychic’s caution led to her suffering a severe head injury, as the psychic supposedly foresaw her tragic fall following a bout of rosé drinking with a friend.

Hannah Roper recounts visiting a fortune teller in April 2024 who cautioned her against going to Fenton, Staffordshire, and being cautious with her drinks in that area. The specific warning unsettled the 24-year-old, prompting her to steer clear of the town for several months.

However, in October of the same year, after consuming rosé at a pub with a friend and then visiting a friend’s residence in the warned town, Hannah mistakenly descended a staircase believing it led to the bathroom, resulting in a fall.

Upon discovering her injured at the base of the stairs, bleeding from her nose and ear, her friend promptly sought medical assistance, leading to Hannah being rushed to The Royal Stoke University Hospital. Doctors diagnosed her with a brain bleed, necessitating the removal of part of her skull to alleviate pressure and swelling, followed by a prolonged period of wearing a protective helmet before receiving a metal plate implant.

Medical professionals emphasized that had she not undergone the initial surgery, Hannah’s life would have been in jeopardy. Reflecting on the incident, Hannah now connects the psychic’s warning about watching her drink in Fenton to her subsequent fall.

Hannah Roper, residing in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, reflected on the sequence of events, noting the pub visit and subsequent fall due to confusion over the house layout. She expressed gratitude for the medical intervention that saved her life, acknowledging the gravity of her alcohol-induced misstep.

Following emergency surgery to address the brain bleed, Hannah reported no permanent brain damage a year after the incident but mentioned experiencing daily fatigue and dizziness. To support a brain injury charity, she shaved her head before the second operation this year, raising over £2,000 for Headway.

Her trip to Spain in August highlighted the lasting effects of her injury on her health, including temperature control issues and hormonal imbalances. She now wears wigs post-shaving and remains committed to raising awareness and funds for brain injury support organizations.
