“Russian Official Threatens UK Targets, Unveils Map”

Must Read

A high-ranking Russian official has issued fresh threats towards the United Kingdom, disclosing specific locations they intend to target within the country.

Dmitry Rogozin, a senator with a military background who previously held positions as deputy premier and head of the space agency, has cautioned that a number of defense-related sites in Britain are at risk. In a recent development, Rogozin has made public a map highlighting 23 defense installations, including military and industrial facilities spread across all four regions of the UK.

Rogozin obtained the map from the UK government’s document ‘Defence Industrial Strategy 2025: Making Defence an Engine for Growth’. The threat was prompted by remarks from former British defense secretary Ben Wallace, who suggested rendering Crimea inhospitable and economically unviable from a Russian perspective.

Wallace advocated for actions that would suffocate Crimea without the need for invasion, leading Rogozin to unveil the map in response. Rogozin commented on Wallace’s proposals, emphasizing the need for Ukraine to possess capabilities to render Crimea uninhabitable. He further advised Russian oligarchs against sending their children to study in England, citing grave risks.

A prominent propagandist, Solovyov, known for his Kremlin-scripted TV monologues, referenced Rogozin’s disclosure of British targets and implied impending consequences for the UK. Solovyov criticized Wallace, labeling him in derogatory terms and threatened to deploy Russia’s Poseidon underwater nuclear drone against Britain.

Solovyov continued with disparaging remarks towards Wallace, questioning his motives and political standing. The threats followed Russian state TV’s mention of a potential terrorist operation targeting a Second World War shipwreck laden with explosives in the Thames estuary as retaliation against alleged British involvement in Ukraine.

The historical shipwreck, SS Richard Montgomery, remains a concern due to the substantial amount of explosives on board. Historian Dr. Andrey Sidorov highlighted the potential threat posed by the wreck and suggested immediate action to prevent a catastrophe.
