“Woman fatally stabbed by partner after seeking help on Facebook”

A woman sought assistance on Facebook shortly before she was fatally stabbed by her partner. Angela Silk, also known as Angela Goodwin, was discovered injured after being stabbed in the leg by Alexander George O’Sachy in 2021. O’Sachy, who nearly severed a major artery during the attack, is now facing a manslaughter sentence after admitting guilt in the Supreme Court. Reports indicate that Silk had come across a Facebook page detailing O’Sachy’s violent past under the name ‘Keep Alex O’Sachy in jail’. In the days leading up to her tragic demise, Silk had interacted with the page, expressing her confusion and seeking help. The day before her death, concerned users responded to her posts inquiring about her safety. Unfortunately, it was already reported that O’Sachy had been charged with her murder. The Facebook page is believed to have been created following the death of Leanne Thompson in 2006, with whom O’Sachy had a relationship. O’Sachy had a history of violence and manipulation, including supplying drugs and inciting suicide in past relationships. He admitted guilt to charges related to unlawful relations with a teenager in 2012. O’Sachy was also linked to the death of another teenager, Andrew Anderson, who passed away after spending time with O’Sachy. Despite his involvement, O’Sachy was not charged in connection with Anderson’s death.
