“You Can See Everything” Documentary Trailer Unveiled

Must Read

A sneak peek at the teaser trailer for the documentary “You Can See Everything” might have left you feeling uneasy, but the full trailer, running for two minutes and 20 seconds, doesn’t offer much relief. Canadian filmmaker Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim captured the footage in the 34 days leading up to Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, heading to prison for an 11-year sentence related to defrauding investors.

Throughout the documentary, the film crew, especially Fielder, remains skeptical, challenging Holmes with tough questions as she maintains her innocence, at times shedding a tear while looking earnestly at the interviewer. Described by A24 production company as a journey into the unknown, the film delves into the life of this enigmatic figure.

In addition, the full-length trailer gives a glimpse into Holmes’s relationship with her husband, Billy Evans, who hails from a family of successful hoteliers. The couple met in 2017 amid the collapse of Theranos. Holmes, once hailed as the youngest self-made female billionaire in the U.S. by Forbes in 2014, faced federal charges a year later.

Fielder, recognized for his satirical show “Nathan for You,” is seen probing Evans about his connection with Holmes, questioning if he ever doubted her intentions. The documentary also touches on Holmes and Evans welcoming their first child in August 2021, shortly before her conviction. Holmes confirmed her second pregnancy after receiving her 11-year prison sentence.

“You Can See Everything” is set to hit theaters on October 16, offering a deep dive into the turbulent life of Elizabeth Holmes.
